The NATO Information and Documentation Centre (NIDC) was established
in Kyiv in 1997 to improve knowledge and understanding between
NATO and Ukraine. The Center provides information, research
assistance and project support to Ukrainian citizens and organisations
on NATO-related topics as well as providing access to NATO documents
and publications.
Our
services:
- Assistance
- NIDC staff will assist you in finding the documents on NATO that fit
your needs and can help you with your research on the internet. You
can also subscribe to our distribution and mailing lists.
- Publications
- In addition to English and French language publications, several NATO
publications are available in Ukrainian such as the NATO Handbook, NATO
Review, or Novyny NATO. These publications can be obtained or ordered
from NIDC via post, phone or e-mail.
- Project Support
- The NIDC can offer financial support to recognised Ukrainian non-governmental
organisations for activities ranging from producing publications or
curriculum development to holding conferences and round tables related
to NATO and/or NATO-Ukraine relations. To receive further details and
application forms, please contact the NIDC Project Officer.
- Press Briefings/Conferences
- The Head of the NIDC holds press briefings and gives interviews on
NATO events and developments to local media. If you are interested in
being added to the NIDC´s mailing list for advisory notices on
upcoming events, please contact us.
