Maintenance

Fuel/POL Handling
For operations and maintenance, the armed forces use fuel, petrol, oil, lubricants (POL) and hazardous materials. These photos give an impression of fuel/POL-handling on barracks sites and under operational conditions.

Simulators
In order to train personnel, armed forces make use of simulators for driving, flying, shooting, command strategy and so on. By using simulators, there is less pressure on the environment because less fuel and ammunition are needed. However, simulators never can replace the experience of real operational conditions. These photos give a few impressions of the use of simulators.

Energy
