The governing intent behind this proposed workshop is to raise the level of cooperation, sharing knowledge and experience as well as the common awareness on the ballast water and sediment problem between NATO members and their partners, and to contribute to the identification of possible ways of action and solutions for ballast water issue in the Adriatic Sea as a pilot project area.
