The military training ground in Krivolak is intended to be used for joint military training activities with surrounding countries in the Balkan Region. The natural conditions (vegetation, habitat, fauna, hydrological and soil characteristics) and the social aspects (agricultural use) of the training ground need to be assessed; the project will cover the wider area of the training polygon including access roads, terminals etc., paying attention especially to biodiversity. The results of the environmental studies will support local authorities to combine military and environmental needs in the best possible way.
