A new video teleconferencing (VTC) facility, made possible via the NATO Virtual Silk Highway project, connected students at the Young Atlanticist Summit in Bucharest on 2 and 3 April with their counterparts in Kabul University. NATO Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme organizes high-level Forum on environmental security
The second NATO Science Forum on Environmental Security will take place on 12 March 2008 at NATO HQ in Brussels.

The Forum will bring together around 20 key speakers and environmental security experts from NATO member, Partner and Mediterranean Dialogue countries to discuss the linkages between the environment and security and examine current initiatives underway to help resolve problems and mitigate conflict.
