Born in the city of Nyzhny Novgorod, Russia, on 13 December, 1958, Professor Kozlov is Head of Laboratory, Energy Department, Kazan Science Centre, Russian Academy of Science, Kazan, Russia.

Professor Kozlov received Doctor of Science, Mechanical Engineering (Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Physics), from Kazan State Technical University, Kazan, Russia, March 1995; Doctor of Philosophy, Mechanical Engineering (Fluid Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering), Kazan Aviation Institute, Kazan, Russia, December 1985 and Master of Science (Mechanical Engineer), Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Kazan Aviation Institute, Kazan, Russia, February 1982

He was appointed Professor (permanent position and part time) in November 1994 at Division of Aircraft Engines, Kazan State Technical University, Kazan, Russia and taught Introductory and Advanced Fluid Mechanics, Experimental Fluids, Thermal Physics, and Turbulence.
