Royal Navy Lieutenant Warfare Officer on watch on the bridge
of HMS GLASGOW. The Destroyer joined the Australian Task Force
to assist in providing humanitarian relief in East Timor in 2000.

Royal
Navy Operator Maintainer Amy Stubbs from Beverly in Hull, holding
11 week old Leo Challoner from Southampton Area. Amy
is part of the Armed Forces ‘Operation Fresco’ which
has been supplying fire cover during the UK Fire Fighters dispute.
The Royal Navy crew were called out at 1 AM 25 Nov 2002 to attend
a fire which had been started in the entrance hall to a 4 story
block of flats. Amy, who recently turned 21, carried Leo from
the smoke filled flats to receive attention from the paramedics.
Amy has been serving in the Royal Navy for two years and is currently
onboard HMS MANCHESTER.

The picture was taken during
exercise Cannon Cloud 2002 in Camp Baumholder in Germany. LTC Kristin
Lund with Dutch and German colleagues planning and execution of
CIMIC activities. The planning was emphasized on the hugh amount
of refugees that caused some challenge for the military operation.
During this exercise LTC Kristin Lund augmented the CG 9 of the
1 German/Netherlands Corps. Normally LTC Lund works in CIMIC Group
North a new established HQ unit stationed in Budel, The Netherlands,

is an Army
Reservist serving with Task Force Bosnia-Herzegovina (TFBH) on Roto
8 of
Operation PALLADIUM, Canada's contribution to the NATO Stabilization
Force
(SFOR). The helicopter is flown by 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron,
which
provides TFBH with tactical air support.
