Task Force Aquila presents the “Vele Per Il Kosovo” Cimic Healthcare Project
Pec (Kosovo) – Colonel Paolo Filippo TATTOLI, Task Force Aquila Commander, will open a medical conference and unveil a CIMIC-donation “Vele per il Kosovo” at the Hotel Universe in Pec.
This project, implemented in collaboration with Trapani’s Local Health Centre, will allow Pec Hospital to receive technical healthcare equipment, which will be handed over during the conference. This donation will then be followed by a statement from the Executive Director of Trapani Hospital, Dr Gaetano D’Antoni, who will extend his greetings by video-teleconference.
The Task Force Aquila mission in Kosovo is to guarantee a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement to the local population. The Task Force is mainly made up of personnel from the 6th Bersaglieri Regiment, located in Trapani, Italy. In Kosovo, it operates under the authority of Multinational Task Force West, Commanded by Brigadier General Nicolò FALSAPERNA.
