Besides its commitments to ensure a Safe and Secure Environment and Freedom of Movement throughout its Area of Responsibility in the north of Kosovo, KFOR French contingent carries out some projects for the help of local population.
In this context, on Thursday, April 17th 2008, Brigadier General Christian Dexter, Multinational Task Force North commander inaugurated a footbridge over the river in Novolan village- municipality of Vucitrn/Vushtrri.
This project is very important for the people in the village. Before, pupils had to walk a long distance to go to school, particularly during winter when the river is flooded.
