Pristina/Prishtine, Kosovo – KFOR Headquarters Guard and Security Battalion (HGSB) conducted an airborne reinforcement exercise on 22 March.
"We train periodically in order to show that our Quick Reaction Force (QRF) is able and willing to keep rioters or criminals away from KFOR installations," acting platoon leader Capt. Barnabas Bartok pointed out.
During this exercises the QRF of the Hungarian Security Battalion practiced reinforcement concepts and familiarized troops with armored personnel carriers as well as helicopters and showed their continued professionalism and positive image.
"When rioters block the road we will drop easily our troops to Camp Film City or to other camps by using helicopters as we trained during this exercise," the captain said with a grin in his face.
