PRISTINA/PRISHTINE, Kosovo – On 23 January 2008, the Minister of Health, Dr. Alush Gashi, met with Colonel Dr. Rüdiger Trapp, new Medical Director of KFOR, and the outgoing Director, Colonel Lecureux.
After the meeting, Minister Gashi expressed his gratitude for the assistance KFOR has given in different situations. Dr. Trapp expressed his readiness to intensify the co-operation between KFOR and the Ministry of Health.
Respecting the authority and mandate of the different international organisations involved, he indicated continuation of advice to enhance medical care for all citizens of Kosovo.
