COMKFOR visits Istok/Istog
ISTOK/ISTOG, Kosovo-The Commander of Kosovo Force Lieutenant General Xavier de Marnhac made a visit to the Municipal Assembly of Istok/Istog Oct. 10, 2007.

During his visit, General de Marnhac met with the President of the Municipal Assembly Mr. Fadil Ferati. Together, they gave a press conference.
A lot of journalists, guests and local population were present for this press conference. COMKFOR General de Marnhac talked about his main duty as COMKFOR.
General de Marnhac said, "We will continue to provide a safe and secure environment to all the citizens of Kosovo." General de Marnhac also presented several pictures from his last tour in Kosovo as Deputy Commander of Kosovo Force in 2005 and 2006 to Mr. Ferati.
In the end, General de Marnhac thanked everybody who was in attendance. After the municipal visit, General de Marnhac met with Mother Antusa at the Monastery of Gorioc nearby Istok/Istog.
