Portuguese MoD visit to HQ KFOR

During the meeting in HQ KFQR, the KFOR role in the future of Kosovo and EU/NATO cooperation in the region was discussed.

Lieutenant General Xavier Bout de Marnhac expressed to Mr. Nuno Severiano Teixeira his great appreciation for the mission of the Portuguese soldiers, who serve as KTM Battalion - KFOR Tactical Reserve Manoeuvre Battailon under the operational control of COMKFOR.

After a private meeting with COMKFOR, Mr. Nuno Severiano Teixeira met with Portuguese staff personnel in HQ KFOR, Camp Film City.

Also, during his visit to Kosovo, Mr. Nuno Severiano Teixeira planned to have talks with UN Secretary General, Mr. Joachim Ruecker, Prime Minister of Kosovo, Mr. Agim Çeku and Mr. Casper Klynge, Head EUPT about situation in the region.

Besides this, the Portuguese Minister for National Defense presided over the KTM Military Parade in Camp Slim Lines.
