ISAF soldier dies in southern Afghanistan
KABUL, Afghanistan - An ISAF soldier died in southern Afghanistan Aug. 9 after an attack from insurgents.

“Our deep sympathies go out to the family and friends of this soldier,” said Brigadier General Richard Blanchette, ISAF spokesperson. “We share your grief.”
It is ISAF policy to not release the nationality of any casualty prior to the relevant national authority doing so.
Next of kin have been notified.
