18 May 2008KABUL, Afghanistan – Media representatives are invited to a news conference at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, 18 May, at the Afghan Ministry of Defence.
The intent of the event is to address the preliminary report by Philip Alston, UN Rapporteur on Human Rights.
The speakers will include the Spokesman for the Senior Civilian Representative to Afghanistan, Mr. Mark Laity, and the ISAF Spokesman, Brigadier General Carlos Branco from ISAF.
