General Harald Kujat, Chairman of NATO’s Military Committee visits Poland from 19-20 April 2005 News 13/04/2005 - NATO Green light for new NATO training centres 12/04/2005 - IMS NATO’s Allied Command Transformation holds official signing ceremonies for new Centre of Excellence and Joint Forces Training Centre General Harald Kujat, Chairman of the Military Committee, NATO’s highest military authority, will visit Warsaw and Bydgoszcz, Poland from 19-20 April 2005. He will be hosted by the Polish Chief of Defence, General Czeslaw Piatas, and will attend a series of military briefings. General Kujat will call on the President, His Excellency Mr. Aleksandra Kwasniewski. He will also meet with the Minister of Defence, Mr. Jerzy Szmajdzinski and the Deputy Minister of Defence, Dr. Andrzej Karkoszka. On 20 April he will visit NATO’s training facilities at the Joint ForceTraining Centre at Bydgoszcz, where he will be hosted by the Director, Major General Peter Kühnel, Danish Army.
