Appointment of new Chairman of NATO’s Military Committee Biographies General Raymond Henault Today the Military Committee in Chiefs of Staff Session, the highest military authority of NATO, elected its new Chairman, General Raymond HENAULT, Canadian Air Force Chief of Defence Staff, Canada who will succeed the present Chairman, General Harald KUJAT, from mid 2005. The precise handover date is subject to the mutual agreement of the outgoing and incoming Chairmen.
