General Harald Kujat, Chairman of NATO’s Military Committee visits Riga, Latvia From 17 – 19 November 2004 General Harald Kujat, Chairman of the Military Committee, NATO’s highest military authority, will visit Riga, Latvia from 17 – 19 November 2004. He will be hosted by Vice Admiral Gaidis A. Zeibots, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Latvia. General Kujat will be received by Mrs. Vaira Vike-Freiberga, Ph.D, President of Latvia. He will also call on Mr. Atis Slakteris, Minister of Defence. During his visit, General Kujat will be discussing matters of common military interest, and he will participate in the official ceremonies to commemorate the Independence Day of the Republic of Latvia.
