Harald Kujat, Chairman of NATO’s Military Committee visits Nordholz
Naval Air Base, Germany on 6 November 2003
General Harald Kujat, Chairman of the Military Committee, NATO’s highest military authority, will visit Nordholz air base in Germany on 6 November 2003. General Kujat will be briefed on air ground surveillance technology. The brief will include a test demonstration of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). Air Ground Surveillance is an essential capability that collects, transfers, analyses and disseminates information for army, navy and air operations. UAVs are the “eyes in the sky” that observe movement on the ground.
