General Harald Kujat, Chairman of NATO’s Military Committee visits Lithuania from 26-27 june 2003 General Harald Kujat, Chairman of the Military Committee, NATO’s highest military authority, will visit Vilnius, Lithuania from 26-27 June 2003. He will meet with Mr. Linas Linkevicius, Minister of National Defence, Major General Jonas Kronkaitis, Commander of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, Mr. Alvydas Sadeckas, Chairman of the National Security and Defence Committee of the Seimas (Lithuanian Parliament) and Mr. Antanas Valionis, Minister of Foreign Affairs. Lithuania is one of the seven countries recently invited to join NATO. During his visit, General Kujat will be discussing matters of common military interest with senior officials.
