Visit of the Military Committee to SFOR
on 14 and 15 March 2002
On 14 and 15 March 2002 the Military Committee will visit the
Headquarters of NATO's Stabilisation Force (SFOR) in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The Military Committee is NATO's highest military authority
comprising the permanent military representatives of the NATO
member countries in NATO Headquarters, Brussels. The MC visit
to Sarajevo will focus on background briefings on SFOR's mission
and current operations as well as on future developments in
the area. The visit to SFOR, originally foreseen in October
last year, is part of the annual visit schedule of the MC. It
symbolises NATO's strong commitment and continuing support for
SFOR's mission and achievements.
