NATO's Military Committee all set to achieve their Force Structure Review by December 2000 Admiral Guido Venturoni, Chairman of NATO's Military Committee announced in a press conference today that the Military Committee in Chiefs of Staff Session meetings taking place from 8 - 9 November had marked substantial consolidation and progress in a number of areas. One item at the forefront of the agenda, the Review of NATO's Force Structure, was successfully addressed. Consensus was reached on the criteria for the selection of the corps and headquarters necessary for NATO to carry out operations in three different crises simultaneously, with subsequent relief and sustenance over a long period of time. NATO's Strategic Commanders are tasked to assess all national proposals, so that a final selection can be made in early December.
